Its old buildings are situated in the very center of Moscow, not far from the Kremlin. The University's new buildings are situated on a high bank of the Moscow River, on the Lenin Hills. This is a whole University village, which occupies a territory of 320 hectares. In this village there are several tens of buildings. In the square between them stands a monument to Lomonosov. Along the side of large swimming pool, in front of the building of the Physics and Chemistry faculties, there are six sculptures of Russian scientists - physicists and chemists. |
