- At Abergavenny station, you might be able to see the old
station sign in the back garden of a neighboring house.
- At Llanfoist an old tramway tunnel still exists under the canal (at lllanfoist Quay), now used as a footpath.
- Redbrook the old railway bridge has an adjacent footbridge
which takes you to The Boat pub, if required
- Tintern Station has been preserved and contains a small museum, minitature railway etc. You can see
where the bridge over the Wye south of the station used to be, leading into a tunnel. There is a bridge
adjacent to Tintern Abbey which used to carry an old mineral line, and this leads you onto the trackbed south of the aforementioned tunnel.
By following this trackbed further South for several kilometers, it eventually becomes
very overgrown and track is still in place, sering the quarry nearby until fairly recently. This track leads
into an (open, at both ends) tunnel - but be careful, this tunnel is about one kilometer long.
