Glyn Valley Tramway

Opened in 1873 as a mainly-roadside tramway, the Glyn Valley shut in 1935. As you might expect, road improvements have wiped away a lot of its traces, but there is still a surprising amount to be seen still

When it was taken up, it seems that some sections of rail were transferred to Gresford Colliery, which had just suffered a major disaster.
