Croesor Tramway
Looking down an incline to the trackbed on the valley floor to the left, with an incline to the right
Showing the tramway climbing up the opposite (northern) side of the valley
What I was trying to show here was the view right down the Croesor Valley, with Cnicht rising on the right. The view is obviously much more impressive when you are there, you can see right down the valley (the tramway occupies the valley floor, until almost the top of the valley is reached). The 800 meter plus Cnicht dominates the landscape. Rhosydd
By climbing the hills at the end of the valley, you reach an old slate works, Rhosydd.
This shows the trackbed snaking away to the right and Rhosydd
